Emergency Care Help Organization (ECHO) assists families in crisis with emergency clothing and food in Eastern Hillsborogh County. ECHO's summer program, Beyond the Can, sponsored by The Libertore Fund for Children, provided 7,323 pounds of produce to over 2000 families in need of emergency food.  The grant also provided 216 families with their own copy of the Good and Cheap Cookbook.

We are matching donations!

The Libertore Fund for Children, Inc. is thrilled to announce that it has received a donation from an anonymous Sarasota business leader. To honor this gift, the foundation commits to match up to $5,000 per participating charity listed below. Matching will begin Giving Tuesday, November 29th and continue through Friday, December 2nd.

Celeste was born 28 weeks premature on August 14, 2015 and weighed 2 pounds 7 ounces. She spent 67 days in the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit). Baby Celeste was diagnosed with Deletion of 2nd Chromosome. She also had dilated ventricles that can cause brain damage. Celeste was referred to Achievement Academy’s Birth to Three Program in November 2015. At the time of the referral Celeste’s adjusted age was a newborn.
