779 Constituents & You!

We have over 200 new constituents this year. Isn't that incredible?! Let's take a moment to celebrate You! Thank you for being a part of The Libertore Fund for Children. Imagine all the success stories made possible because of people just like you. And, yet, here we are and this year has been an absolute mess for so many. It has been wrought with loss and change, but through it all, you continue to make a difference and offer hope.

The LibFund Partner Network met for the first time during the Pandemic

The leaders of several non-profit agencies from Sarasota and Polk Counties gathered in person and virtually to share ideas, concerns and solutions.

Over 124 Hours of Behavioral Health Therapy

Thanks to you, our donors, the Children’s Home Society of Florida was able to provide 124.75 hours of behavioral health therapy and services to uninsured/underinsured children and families.

“Someone came along and paid for me to go to camp. That person believed that I had worth and then I began to believe that I had worth.” A teen foster child

I have the privilege of working with so many dedicated leaders that fight for the welfare of children every day because they believe in their worth. They are the champions that help build a foundation for children so they can reach their full potential and become productive members of our communities.

Mental illness or mental disorders are on the rise and we are supporting agencies that provide mental health services for children to help minimize the numbers. Mental health issues have always been in existence, but we are now talking about it, acknowledging that it exists because we are seeing the effects it has on children and families. For far too long we have ignored symptoms in ourselves or loved ones, maybe because mental illness was a stigma or label. Mental illness is just that, an illness. Research tells us that with proper diagnosis and treatment, children struggling with mental illness can be helped.
