On behalf of our Board of Directors, and myself, I want to thank you for staying in touch with us and for helping so many children realize hope. As we enter the holiday season, there are so many things on my mind that I felt compelled to share.
This year has been a struggle for all of us, young and old. But, because of the frustrations and hardships, rewarding family experiences and positive lessons have surfaced. As the year comes to an end, look back on the positives made as a family during the pandemic, write them all down and keep them alive as we move into 2021.
During the month of October, my husband and I battled firsthand with COVID-19. Thankfully, we are recovering but with this ailment came the realization that our mission matters. What the LibFund stands for is more important than ever before. This is the season of Thanksgiving, and we are grateful to be able to connect with individuals like you, and agencies who enable local children to grow and prosper. We are so thankful for you, for giving hope and help. Without your gifts we would not be able to connect with so many children.
Our nation’s leaders may mince words about current affairs but we will not. We don’t have time to delay the work right here in the State of Florida. Our children need us 24/7. We are committed more today in this chaotic world to breaking barriers for at-risk children and I hope you are too.
Sincerely,
Lana Swartzwelder
