Johns Hopkins Medicine unites physicians and scientists of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine with the organizations, health professionals and facilities of The Johns Hopkins Hospital and Health System.

Diverse and inclusive, Johns Hopkins Medicine educates medical students, scientists, health care professionals and the public; conducts biomedical research; and provides patient-centered medicine to prevent, diagnose and treat human illness.

Many children in the Sarasota area go to school hungry. Although some schools provide a free breakfast and lunch, lunch may be served as early as 10:30am and may be the last meal many children eat before returning to school the following day. The purpose of The Children’s Healthy Pantry (CHP) is to ensure that children at risk have additional food during the school day.

The Payton Wright Foundation (PWF) exists to help support families who are caring for a child with brain cancer. Established in 2008 by Patrick and Holly Wright, the foundation honors the memory of their daughter, Payton, who passed away from brain cancer at the age of five. The Payton Wright Foundation was created both in Payton's memory and with her fighting spirit.
The Payton Wright Foundation works with families, physicians and social workers to provide practical relief for things such as fuel, food, or housing expense so that families can give full concentration to their child’s care and treatment.
